ACE Awards Winner

Alberta Wilderness Association (client) and Calder Bateman (entrant) won 8 awards in advertising.

On March 08, 2010 19:30 ET, the Marketwire announced that the NO MORE GRIZZLIES DOT COM campaign had won eight 2010 ACE Awards in six “creative and craft” categories:

Background

The No More Grizzlies campaign by the Alberta Wilderness Association included video, posters, and newspaper advertising.  It was a satirical design to bring awareness to Grizzly Bear issues in Alberta.  The campaign has been effective in public concerns for the Grizzly Bear hunt and effective in the suspension of the 2010 hunt (see “Grizzly Bear Hunt Suspended for Another Year in Alberta”).
