Alberta Government Draft Provincial Woodland Caribou Range Plan

The Alberta government’s draft provincial woodland caribou range plan was released December 19, 2017 for public comment.

Appendices in this document summarize caribou population trends, industrial tenures and habitat conditions for individual caribou home ranges. All twelve Alberta boreal caribou populations are included. The three mountain caribou populations on Alberta public lands are included: A La Peche, Narraway and Redrock-Prairie Creek. Populations in Jasper National Park are excluded.
