AWA Wilderness & Wildlife Defenders alert: Now is the Time to Protect the Castle! For several decades AWA has been calling for legislated protection of the Castle region. The fact that areas of the Castle are scheduled for imminent clearcut logging, despite extensive local and provincial opposition, makes the issue particularly urgent. Premier Redford has already heard from a “high volume” of callers, asking for a halt to the logging and new protection for the Castle. So the timing is crucial for people to contact the premier as soon as possible.
