I am a retired lawyer, husband/father of three, and “dog Dad”. While still in practice I took an art degree at AUArts majoring in sculpture. Since childhood I’ve always made time for art making – painting, sculpture, photography and other projects. Since I retired in 2022 I’ve been able to spend a good amount of time at my art.

To me “Wild Alberta” means places left alone so I can marvel about how strange, wonderful and beautiful the World can be if we just let it be.

My personal challenge is to paint sixty (60) 6 x 8” oil paintings in nature (and of nature) before the end of the year. I painted only 20 in the first 6 months so have to get focused. Two a week from here on in will do it!
