Join AWA as we hike this former exploration road and discuss the history and future of cumulative effects on our Eastern Slopes. From coal, to oil and gas, to logging, to grazing, to recreation, there are many uses that put pressure on the ecological processes of these areas. While we enjoy a plethora of wildflowers and immense wild vistas we will contemplate the future of these areas, that currently have no protection yet are used by hundreds of thousands of people to escape to the wilderness. One of the most imminent threats is that of logging on the slopes visible from our high vantage. By next year this view could be drastically different
