We had the pleasure of teaming up with @carolyn_fisher_illustration to do a youth crocus sketching day on Nose Hill. These talented young artists tried their hand at thumbnail sketches while we talked about the unique ecology of Nose Hill Park. Carolyn led the group to different stations where we practiced opening up our senses to the world around us. She led the group in drawing various features, with the focus being the newly opened prairie crocus flowers we found dotted along the hillsides.
