The Redford government writes to AWA to address concerns about coal development in the sensitive and vitally important Eastern Slopes, promising they will manage the resources of this province responsibly. The letter does not fully address concerns about neglecting both the Eastern Slopes Policy and the Coal Development Policy, suggesting that the latter might be outdated for this world of new technology.
