Over the last month we have been encouraging mums to get outside and enjoy the wild spaces around them, both in the city and further afield. More than 25 women have joined us on outings and so far they have raised almost $800 for conservation in Alberta!
May 18 6:30 p.m. – Nose Hill Wander
May 23 6 p.m. – Weaselhead Wander
May 29 6:30 p.m. – Paddle Night at Bowness with Bonnie Presser
A big thank you to all the ladies who joined us for this challenge, and especially to our volunteer coordinators, Annalise and Cailynn Klingbeil, Kelsie Joad, and Bonnie Presser. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
Events included city walks in Bowmont, Fish Creek, and the Weaselhead, a sunset hike up Mesa Butte, a rock climbing day in Kananaskis, and a paddling night (coming up this Monday!).
