Two-bits?: Woodland Caribou Are Worth More Than That

Wildlands Advocate article, April 2014, by Chad Belisle. The severe decline of woodland caribou has been a good indication of Alberta’s irresponsible land management. Several policies and programs have been implemented to restore caribou populations but none have been successful at addressing the real problem – habitat loss from industrial development.

It is my belief that Non-profit organizations like the Alberta Wilderness Association provide a clear framework that creates opportunities for Albertans to actively participate in the protection of their provinces resources.
