Oldman Headwaters Action Plan 2013-14: Maintaining and Protecting the Headwaters and Source Waters of the Oldman Watershed

Wild Lands Advocate article, April 2014, by Connie Simmons. The Oldman Watershed Council (OWC) produced a Headwaters Action Plan as part of the Oldman Integrated Watershed Management Plan. OWC engaged multiple stakeholders and held several workshops to create a comprehensive science-based plan that incorporates concerns and ideas from industry, government, ENGOS, locals, and First Nations. The Headwaters Action Plan used a state of the watershed to move forward in addressing cumulative impacts on the Oldman headwaters.
