The Milk River Watershed Council Canada: Our Water, Our Legacy

Wild Lands Advocate Article, October 2012, by Tim Romanow, Executive Director, MRWCC. The Milk River watershed is a unique drainage located in southern Alberta and fuels a diverse and magnificent array of flora and fauna. The MRWCC has written a State of the Watershed Report, has done some important monitoring work, and has established transboundary relationships as stewards of this watershed.

With rare exception cattle ranchers have been the best of guardians of the land entrusted to them. May we continue to be conscientious caretakers of this precious resource and hand it on to another generation unspoiled.
