AWA wrote to the Alberta Utilities Commission expressing our concerns with the impacts of Fox Meadows Wind Project, a project proposed in a region with high bird and bat diversity. We suggested the project be moved to areas with lower risk, or if moving the project was not possible, to implement mitigation measures such as curtailment at low wind speeds.
