Music for the Wild: Magnolia Buckskin SOLD OUT

Magnolia Buckskin members Corry Ulan, Emily Triggs, Natasha Platt and Kathy Cook are back for their third performance at Music for the Wild, after recently opening for Rickie Skaggs. They have been winning the hearts of audiences for more than a decade with their intriguing lyrics and captivating arrangements. A flavorful blend of grassroots, folk, and acoustic pop music highlights sweet harmonies, laced with banjo, accordion, clarinet, mandolin, bass and guitar. Songs from Magnolia Buckskin’s last self-titled CD have placed within CBC’s top 100 playlist.

Murray Fitch and Friends Murray Fitch is a native Calgarian folk singer-songwriter. His music is sometimes soft and melodic, sometimes rocking, and often quirky. He won the Upstart category of the 2017 Ship and Anchor songwriting contest (formerly the Calgary Folk Musical Festival contest) and was a finalist in two 2018 competitions.  Murray hosts a monthly song circle at the Gravity Espresso and Wine Bar in Calgary. Murray (vocals, guitar, ukulele, banjo) will be joined by his friends Erik Smistad (bass) and Suzi Martin (vocals, guitar, banjo, percussion). Suzi is also a songwriter and will play a couple of her own tunes.  Expect variety, harmonies, sing-alongs, and songs to make you think, laugh or cry.
