AWA Hike: Lakeland Weekend

Shaw Day Use Area / Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park
Free for members / $25 non-members

Join Carolyn Campbell and the Lac La Biche Birding Society to learn about the natural history of the area, conservation, and birding as you stroll through the southern boreal region. On Saturday, hikers will meet at the Shaw Day Use Area in Lakeland Provincial Park and travel from Shaw Lake to McGuffin Lake through a boreal mixed wood forest rich in birds and other wildlife.

Sunday morning will be a morning of birding in Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park with Bernie Gauthier (of the Lac La Biche Birding Society) and Carolyn.


Cost for one or both hikes: Free for AWA members / $25 non-member – Lifetime memberships are only 25 dollars and are available here:
