Water in the Castle

The Castle Special Place, although it only comprises four percent of the Oldman River basin, contributes a massive 30 percent of its yearly water flow. It is such an important area to have meaningful protection because of its hugely important headwaters, biodiversity, and outstanding low-impact recreational opportunities.
