2011-04-05 (Talk) Inside the Box
Featuring a terrific video documentary of cavity nesting birds and their struggle against habitat loss in the knob and kettle parkland.
Videographer Phil French and an unsung central Alberta conservationist teamed up to produce this wonderful documentary labour of love. The film is set in Alberta's parkland ecosystem and features the lives of woodpeckers and cavity nesting ducks as they struggle to overcome the effects of habitat loss and successfully raise their families. Join Phil and the AWA as we peer inside the box during the climax of these creatures' lives.
