2010-07-19 (Backpack-FULL) Castle Wilderness
A three-day (2 nights) backpacking excursion to the wild and wonderful environment of Alberta's Castle River region.
(This difficulty level is based on the ascent of Victoria Peak on the second day.)

Spend three days in this truly spectacular environment. Camp for two nights along the banks of historic Pincher Creek. Be prepared for a strenuous, but thrilling, climb to the summit of Victoria Peak. Spend hours viewing and photographing the wonders of the sub-alpine and alpine environments.
Please Note: This trip is rated as Difficult due to the ascent of Victoria Peak on the second day. This will entail an elevation gain of approximately 850 metres (2700 feet) over a distance of about 5 kilometres.
