"Mountain Prairie" in the Stoney language, Ya-Ha-Tinda is an enigmatic region of prairie and parkland surrounded by mountain peaks.  Begin in the Red Deer River valley and learn about the traditional and historical uses of the land.  Then meander along Bighorn Creek, climbing up to several breath-taking vantage points.  If time and stamina permits, we will ascend to the peak of Sheep Mountain, taking in a superb 360 degree view.

Please Note: This is a Difficult hike of approximately 16 kilometres and an elevation gain of about 575 metres (1900 feet).
