Explore this classic montane landscape, the largest remaining example in Alberta. Wander the trails ridges and valleys and visit ancient pines clinging precariously to the slopes. The Whaleback is home to wildlife such as deer, elk, bears, coyotes and wolves. This is a very popular hike, so plan to register early!
Please Note: This hike is rated as Moderate, covering approximately 12 - 14 kilometres with an elevation gain of about 300 metres (1000 feet).
